About Us
Ukrainian Jersey City is a volunteer-led charitable nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that brings together the Ukrainian community in Jersey City and beyond. Founded in 2020, we create opportunities to connect, celebrate and share Ukrainian culture, support Ukrainians in our local community, and provide direct humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
What started as a small group united by a shared connection to Ukraine has grown into a community of volunteers, supporters, and partners working together both here in New Jersey and across Ukraine.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support the Ukrainian community in Jersey City, share Ukrainian culture with our neighbors, and stand with Ukraine in the midst of war. Through community, cultural initiatives, and direct aid—including critical supplies and vehicles for medical units on the front lines—we work to strengthen our community here at home and help save lives in Ukraine.

Provide vehicles, medical supplies, protective equipment, and other critical aid to medical units and communities affected by the war.

These vehicles help medics reach the wounded, transport patients, and operate in areas where reliable transportation can directly affect survival.

From cultural gatherings to rallies and fundraisers, our events bring people together while keeping attention on Ukraine and supporting our humanitarian work.
100+ Ukrainian families supported locally
Through community initiatives, resources, events, and direct support, we help Ukrainians build connections and find support in Jersey City.
